The Story Behind Careerland
Careerland was created from a simple belief: career exploration shouldn't begin only when students are old enough to start making career decisions. Young children are naturally curious about the world around them - what people do, how things work, and the many different ways people help their communities.
Program Overview
Luma Quest™ is a story-driven career exploration program designed to introduce elementary students to the many careers that help build and support our communities.
Through imaginative adventures in the world of Careerland, students follow Luma, a curious robot explorer, and her adventure companion Finn Starr as they travel through different regions/zones where professionals work together to solve real-world challenges.
Each adventure introduces students to important careers such as engineers, doctors, scientists, environmental caretakers, artists, inventors, and more. By meeting these characters and learning how they help the world, students begin thinking about their own talents, interests, and future possibilities.
